Age UK Bradford District Partners with Bradford Council for Free Health Awareness Event
Age UK Bradford District, in collaboration with Bradford Council, is hosting a FREE Health Awareness Event to help local older people take control of their health and well-being. The event will take place on Friday, 14th March, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wrose & Windhill Hub (75 Wrose Road, Wrose, Shipley BD18 1HX).
With a focus on prevention and early intervention, this event will provide valuable health information and support, including:
✔ Blood Pressure Checks – Understanding your numbers is key to preventing heart disease and stroke. Experts will be on hand to offer free checks and guidance.
✔ Sleep Awareness – Poor sleep can affect both physical and mental health. Learn practical tips to improve your sleep and overall well-being.
✔ Nutrition & Hydration Advice – Eating well and staying hydrated are essential for maintaining energy, immunity, and overall health. Get expert advice on making healthy choices.
