Being a Trusted Trader – Lemon Locksmith

Andrew Dunn of Lemon Locksmith has been a member of Age UK Bradford District's Trusted Trader database for over a year now.

This is our directory of local tradespeople, contractors and companies that have been vetted by us to ensure that they are reliable and trustworthy providers.

Our Trusted Trader database includes a wide range of useful local contacts, from handy persons to plumbers to people specialising in decluttering.

Here, Andrew provides us with a quick update on his time over the last year of being a member of our database.

"I would say around 50% of my work involves fitting keysafe boxes for people which allows family members or even emergency service personnel to have a spare key for peoples property should there be an emergency where they need to get in. The other 50% is general door and window repair work. As well as getting work directly from the Age UK Bradford District site, I believe that being a member has also helped me with building customers trust from other sources too."

As well as supporting Age UK Bradford District, another highlight this year has been in supporting a children’s charity called Little Hiccups in which I donated my income from 2 nights of lock outs to:

Previously Andrew provided the services of general door repairs, lock upgrades and window repairs. Andrew now also provides emergency boarding up services.

Andrew says:

''I believe in providing the exact price to the customer over the phone prior to coming to the job which, would you believe, is very uncommon in this industry. I like to ensure that there are no surprises and allow people to compare so that they get the best price. Many people also ask me if I do other general handy work which I do sometimes do depending on how busy I am.''
