AUKBD Coffee Morning

Local charity, Age UK Bradford District is seeking individuals and local businesses to support their latest fundraiser - the AUKBD Coffee Morning this May. The charity hopes to work with Bradford-based businesses to raise much-needed funds to support their work with older people.
With an aging population of over 85,000 people aged 65 plus in Bradford District, and the challenges at this time of life, there are so many people in need of help and support. The charity sees a year-on-year increase in people accessing their services; in particular advice and casework, groups, and activities. An increase in funding for both areas will lead to more older people finding the support they need to live a more financially secure life and improving mental well-being through creating communities.
The current offering of groups and activities is available on the website https://www.ageuk.org.uk/bradforddistrict/activities-and-events/ or by calling 01274 391190.
A Coffee Morning is about enjoying a cuppa and some tasty treats with friends and colleagues. You can get involved in various ways, such as hosting a coffee morning in your own home, business, church, or village hall.
The charity has set up an event page where you will be able to find supporting materials that can be printed to help promote this event https://www.ageuk.org.uk/bradforddistrict/get-involved/fundraise/coffee-morning/ .
Fundraising Assistant Lynette Elphee said, "This is the first time we have planned a coffee morning across the district and we're looking forward to getting involved with local businesses who are generous enough to support us and the event."
