Role Description

To provide ad-hoc admin support to Age UK Bolton, assisting with various office tasks that contribute to the smooth running of our services for older adults. 

Your role will include:  

  • Assisting with general offices duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning documents
  • Data entry tasks
  • Answering phone calls and directing enquiries
  • Helping prepare and distribute mailings 
  • Performing other office tasks as assigned by the administration officer 

What We're Looking For

  • Good administrative skills; some experience of recording data would be beneficial, however, training will be provided
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • I.T. literate
  • The ability to work under own initiative and know when to seek help and support
  • Reliable
  • Awareness of confidentiality and able to agree to follow our confidentiality policies 
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to work within a team of other volunteers and staff

Hours Required

2-3 hours on an ad-hoc basis.
