Strength and Balance is our specialist exercise service which focuses on preventing falls and hospital admissions.

About the service

Strength and Balance provides specialist exercise classes designed to prevent falls and keep everyone strong and steady, no matter their age or mobility level.

Our Strength and Balance Instructors are qualified to deliver these specialist sessions for people suffering from a range of conditions, enabling them to exercise safely and confidently.

To cater for different mobility levels and meet everyone's needs, the service is divided into three levels:

Get Strong, Get Steady

Stay Strong, Stay Steady

Stronger For Longer

Please note all classes must be pre-booked, and all new attendees must be assessed by a member of the team before attending any classes.

Signing up to the service

How do I sign up to Strength and Balance?

All new clients must submit an Application Form, which you can find below. This is to assess your general health, activity levels and goals so we can place you in the class level which is right for you.

Once you have submitted an Application Form, a member of the Strength and Balance team will be in touch with you to enrol you into the most suitable class.

Can health professionals refer a client to Strength and Balance?

Yes, you may refer a client to Strength and Balance if you are a health professional and your client is based in Bolton. Please submit a Referral Form below to refer a client.
