Age UK Bolton is proud to be working with local partners to co-design our town's age-friendly strategy. As the independent chair for the strategy's steering group, our Chief Executive, Suzanne Hilton, would like to share the following report and briefings:
Using the findings from the work carried out by Local Delivery Leads so far, Ambition for Ageing has released a report, Building Age-Friendly Neighbourhoods in Greater Manchester and two briefings.
- What Makes an Age-friendly Neighbourhood– a general briefing, exploring what older people have told us about what makes neighbourhoods age-friendly.
- How We Build Age-Friendly Neighbourhoods – a practitioner's briefing showcasing age-friendly activities taking place across Greater Manchester and exploring successes and challenges encountered by the Ambition for Ageing programme.
We hope that you find the report and briefings interesting. If you would like to find out more about the Ambition for Ageing programme in Bolton contact: yasminholgeth@ageukbolton.org.uk
