Bolton Arena New MD Announces Strategic Partnership with Age UK Bolton

Bolton Arena is an iconic building and facility in Bolton adjacent to one of Europe's largest retail parks in Middlebrook, this July it celebrates 20 years of building an active and healthy community that the town of Bolton has been proud of since 2001.

More than 1.2 million visitors are welcomed through the doors every year to use the excellent facilities at Bolton's best loved sporting, events and entertainment venue.

As the arena embarks on a new era with a new MD leading the organisation it seeks to deepen its community impact and work collaboratively across Bolton to tackle health inequalities and provide access to sport and both physical and mental wellbeing support.

As part of this drive we pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Age UK Bolton committing to work together on existing projects and new initiatives we are developing in partnership.

Neil Hutchinson Bolton Arena’s MD said “If we have learnt anything from the last couple of years during the pandemic it’s that collaboration and partnerships is how towns and communities are going to thrive and support those most in need, I am excited about the future and really pleased to be working with Age UK who’s vision and values align with ours as we work towards the future”

Chief Executive of Age UK Bolton Suzanne Hilton said “We are really pleased to be working closely with Bolton Arena and hope to see new initiatives develop out of the partnership over the coming months.

Both organisations will invest time in bring their workforce together to work on projects together to include, Walking Football, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Weight loss programmes.
