Looking after your feet as you get older is really important as it helps with mobility, gait and balance. Our toe nail cutting service starts with an optional relaxing footbath and foot massage to soften and cleanse the nails. Nails are cut using your own purchased nail clippers which are just used by you and we keep for you so you never forget them. The service is operated by NHS trained staff and volunteers in a number of locations right across the borough and everyone is assessed by an NHS podiatrist before the service starts. We offer regular appointments too which enable us to spot any potential problems early and refer you if necessary to more specialist care.

Please note we are unable to offer the service if you have been diagnosed with certain medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis; or if you are currently prescribed certain medications. Please call us for more information.
