Join the ageWise Panel and Make a Difference! 

Are you passionate about sharing your experiences and shaping the future for older adults in Birmingham? The ageWise Panel is your chance to voice your priorities and needs, helping us develop services that truly resonate with people aged 50+.

ageWise.jpgPurpose: 

The ageWise panel is all about amplifying the voices of older individuals who benefit from our services. Your unique insights and feedback will help us enhance our programs, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of our community. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Feedback and Suggestions: Share your thoughts on our current support and services, and suggest new initiatives to better meet the evolving needs of older adults. 
  • Advocacy: Be an ambassador for the older community, advocating for policies and services that promote well-being and address challenges. 
  • Review and Evaluation: Participate in reviewing and evaluating proposed changes to ensure they align with the best interests of older individuals. 
  • Representation: Represent the broader older community by sharing your perspectives and experiences. 

Frequency of Meetings: 

The Panel meets up to four times a year, offering regular opportunities to engage in discussions, share your views, and contribute to the success of our initiatives. 

Other Opportunities: 

As a member of the panel, you may also be invited to participate in: 

  • Surveys 
  • Online meetings via Zoom 
  • Face-to-face focus groups 
  • Engagement workshops to design new projects
