Our monthly Lunch Club in Peasedown St John continues to go from strength to strength and is a regular and popular feature of village life.
Set up to tackle social isolation among older residents in the village, the friendly and welcoming club can be one of the few times a month some of its member are able to get out of the house and see other people.

We are currently looking for a volunteer organiser for the lunch club. Operating as part of a team, the six-hour-a-month role includes planning the menu, shopping for ingredients, meeting and greeting the older people as they arrive and ensuring they have a fantastic day with us.
