If you’re taking part in Second-hand September, why not visit our three Age UK Barnsley Charity Shops to see if you can bag a bargain, or donate your pre-loved items?
Second-hand September is a national initiative that promotes the benefits of shopping second-hand and donating used items and goods to a good cause.
Our Charity Shops – at Eldon Street, Cudworth and Wombwell – are all packed with potential bargains, so come along and see what you can discover!
Commenting, Age UK Barnsley Chief Executive Debby Bunn said:
“Whether you’re looking for a great bargain, want to donate your pre-loved goods, or see the environmental and social benefits of shopping second-hand – our Age UK Barnsley shops are the perfect place for you!
“We are a fiercely independent local charity who rely on the support and generous donations of local people – every penny raised through our shops goes towards supporting older people in Barnsley.”
