Barnsley Men in Sheds host special guest

Barnsley Men in Sheds hosted a very special guest this week when Mayor of Barnsley Councillor Sarah Tattersall paid a visit to the Shed and met with volunteers and members.

Commenting, Age UK Barnsley CEO Debby Bunn said:

“Barnsley Men in Sheds were delighted to welcome the Mayor to the Shed to see the great work that is going on to support older men in the Barnsley borough.

“The Mayor enjoyed a tour of the Shed on McLintlock Way and met with a number of volunteers and members to talk about the support that is available.

“We would encourage men who are looking for a friendly, supportive environment in which to socialise and learn new skills to get in touch with Men in Sheds.”
