Age UK Barnsley present cheque to Barnsley Hospital Charity to support Make a Memory Appeal

Age UK Barnsley today (14th Feb) presented a cheque to representatives of the Barnsley Hospital Charity of £255 that was raised towards the Hospital’s Make a Memory Appeal – which will support people living with dementia and their carers in Barnsley.
The cheque was presented by Age UK Barnsley Chief Executive Debby Bunn to Sam Bentley from the Barnsley Hospital Charity.
Commenting, Debby Bunn said:
“We are hugely proud to be able to support Barnsley Hospital through this fundraising effort and do our bit to help Barnsley residents who are living with dementia, and their carers, in this way.
“Please consider supporting the Make a Memory Appeal wherever you can.”
Commenting, Sam Bentley said:
“We were delighted to receive this generous donation from Age UK Barnsley to support our Make a Memory Appeal. This will help to support older patients in Barnsley and improve the facilities we have at the Hospital.”
