Volunteer
If you are interested in helping older people in your local area, click on the links below to find out more!
Age UK Lewisham and Southwark relies on volunteers to help us offer vital services in the local community. Would you like to lend a hand?
Can you spare a hour or more each week to help an isolated Lewisham resident?
Both our Community Connections Transport and Community Connections Befriending services are entirely reliant on the commitment of caring and reliable volunteers from within our community.
We urgently need more volunteers to meet the demand of Lewisham residents requesting both transport and befriending support. If you are aged 18 or over and have the passion, time and commitment to make a difference to someone’s life in the this way then we would love to hear from you!
